Collegiate School's proximity to New York City gives us the ability for fun and fascinating field trips. The school van, security advisor and a short ride through the tunnel or over the bridge provides our students with priceless trips to see the One World Observatory, Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Natural History, Metropolitan Museum, New York Public Library, Bodies Exhibit, Grant's Tomb, Statue of Liberty, etc...
Small class sizes also allows for other curriculum-based field trips such as the Bronx Zoo, Turtle Back Zoo, Medieval times, college fairs, separate college tours, movies, plays, planetariums, parks...
Many in-school assemblies have included programs featuring Chinese acrobats, Rain Forest Animals, African Dancers, chick incubation and hatching, and a Skylab planetarium.
The sky's the limit when field trips are involved here at Collegiate. Hands-on learning and first-time experiences - an outstanding way to learn!
